The monks used the recently built house at Bustard Farm as a guest house. They, themselves, lived in the farm cottages and built their church, Our Lady of Paradise, alongside the cottages. They planted an orchard of 200 apple trees and made cider, which they sold. Note the statue of the Virgin Mary above the central windows.
