- The house now known as Shelly’s used to be Prince’s Farmhouse.
In 1920, the house now known as Prince’s Farm was a cottage which belonged to the farm, along with the outbuildings around it.
At the time of the 1920 Village Auction, Andrew’s Farm was a separate property, but it may also once have been farm cottages attached to Prince’s Farm, which historically was one of the biggest farms in the village.
